Asia holds the supply chain for AI hardware and a large internet and consumer market. TSMC anchors the first, and China and Hong Kong platforms give exposure to domestic consumption and tech self-sufficiency, away from US mega-cap concentration.
Risks
US-China controls, Taiwan geopolitics, and regulation can hit holdings abruptly. Domestic demand may stay weak, and AI-spending doubts transmit from the US. China ADRs and Hong Kong listings behave differently, and the weights are not index-based. Figures as of November 2026.
